Ars Goetia — L’Unique Oracle Deck is an authorial art project centered on the reinterpretation of archetypal figures drawn from the Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis, commonly known as the Ars Goetia. Rather than reproducing the source literally, this deck approaches it as a philosophical and symbolic system — a language through which human experience has been encoded across centuries.
This oracle is not intended as a practical instrument of ceremonial magic. Its purpose lies elsewhere: in visual and conceptual inquiry into duality, hidden knowledge, and the inner architecture of the psyche. The project emerges from a dialogue between historical material and contemporary thought. Its foundations draw upon classical texts such as the Ars Goetia itself, Johann Weyer’s Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, and Jacques Collin de Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal, alongside early engravings by Mathers & Crowley (1904), Louis Breton (1863), and European iconographic manuscripts of the 17th–18th centuries. These references are filtered through the sensibilities of modern symbolism, surrealism, and present-day esoteric art.
Each illustration is a reinterpretation rather than a reconstruction. There is no aim toward doctrinal accuracy, ritual instruction, or cultic representation. The figures traditionally labeled as “spirits” are treated here as archetypal constructs — visual metaphors for forces inherent to the human condition: will and restraint, insight and illusion, desire and fear, intuition and transformation. What appears ancient is reframed as psychologically immediate.
Within this deck, Goetic figures are not cast as demons in a theological sense. They function as symbolic manifestations of natural, emotional, and cognitive dynamics — mirrors through which inner processes can be observed and contemplated. Historically, the concept of spirit referred not to moral evil, but to an animating principle: an idea, energy, or governing pattern beneath visible reality. This project returns to that pre-moral understanding.
Ars Goetia — L’Unique Oracle Deck positions light and shadow not as opposites in conflict, but as complementary aspects of awareness. It is an artistic meditation on meaning rather than belief, interpretation rather than devotion. Through image and symbol, ancient forms are translated into a contemporary visual language of introspection, offering a space for reflection where complexity is preserved rather than simplified.

• 72 Arcane Cards
The deck consists of seventy-two original cards, each devoted to a spirit referenced in the Lemegeton and traditionally associated with the Solomonic cycle. These works are not illustrative portraits. Every card functions as a symbolic construct — a visual code layered with mythic references, astrological logic, and the spirit’s traditional designation. The imagery is designed to operate as a focal point for intuitive perception, where symbolism unfolds through contemplation rather than instruction.
• Interpretive Guidebook
The accompanying guide offers a structured yet flexible framework for engaging with the deck. It explores:
— multi-layered reading of each card through image, name, elemental quality, title, and positional meaning;
— methods of formulating questions and interpreting symbolic response;
— approaches to working with archetypes as dialogue and reflection, not authority or belief.
The guide emphasizes understanding symbols as dynamic forms, encouraging personal interpretation over fixed doctrine.
• Original Spreads Inspired by the Solomonic Tradition
Included are custom layouts created exclusively for this oracle. Each spread is conceived as a symbolic exchange — a way to navigate themes of sovereignty, hidden knowledge, and the architecture of the inner realm. The focus lies on process and insight rather than prediction.
