Tarot of the Renaissance Era Great Families

The Renaissance period in Italy was a remarkable epoch characterized by an abundance of extraordinary artists, influential church leaders, and a complex web of political intrigues. This vibrant era sparked a profound cultural transformation that left an indelible mark on future generations. The narratives and artistic creations that emerged during this time continue to play a crucial role in shaping our historical understanding.

I have to admit, the 15th and 16th centuries pique my curiosity immensely. This era was marked by the presence of extraordinary artists who crafted some of the most iconic works known to humanity. Simultaneously, the church was caught up in fierce political battles, leading to some of the most violent confrontations recorded. The interplay of artistic achievement and political chaos renders this period truly compelling.

Diving into this deck working process has really made me dig deeper into the history of Italy's prominent families. After a lengthy Conclave filled with negotiations, deals, and a bit of corruption, the cardinals were furious when Rodrigo Borgia from Spain took the papal seat. This marked the start of a new era for both the nation and the church, one that was even more violent, scandalous, and contentious than what had come before.
